Premico Group’s Board of Directors has appointed Jyrki Kaskinen (M.Sc. Economics) as CEO. He shall take up his position on 1 November 2021.
Mr. Kaskinen has been a member of the Board of Directors and a partner in Premico since 2014. He is currently the CEO of Premico Private Equity Funds and prior to this he has held several executive positions including the CEO of Raskone Oy and has also been an independent Management Consultant. In his career to date he has served as a Board Professional in over 20 companies.
Premico is a real estate investment and development company specializing in residential assets. The company has two business lines: private equity funds investing in residential assets and a service business comprising real estate development, construction project management, and property management together with leasing services. During recent years the Company has constructed or completely renovated over 5000 residential units and currently manages c.a. 7000 rental apartments in over 20 Finnish cities. Premico employs more than 50 real estate specialists.
Premico’s current CEO and partner since 1995 Janne Vaula, will assume the role of full-time Chairman of the Board from 1 November 2021. Mr. Vaula will concentrate on developing Premico’s Private Equity Fund operations and associated Asset Management services.

The Board of Directors regards Jyrki Kaskinen as the most suitable candidate with his long experience and expertise to lead the implementation of Premico’s future strategy,” says Mr. Vaula. “With the growing private equity business and new international partnerships, Premico is entering a new phase as a company, and I will be active especially in these business areas”.
