Asunto Oy Espoon Zeniitti has received the final BREEAM certificate with the grade “Very Good”. It is the first residential apartment building in Finland that has been certified by the BREEAM New Construction program. Premico acted as the construction consultant on the project, representing Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI). The site’s contractor was Lujatalo.

Premico has created guidelines for the construction of residential apartment buildings in accordance with the BREEAM criteria. The guideline is the first of its kind in Finland and now brought the final certificate to Asunto Oy Espoo Zeniitti. Sweco Finland Oy acted as the project’s local BREEAM consultant and assessor.
Asunto Oy Espoo Zeniitti’s final BREEAM certificate was applied for at the beginning of the year. Thanks to the careful work of all parties in the project, there were no requests for further clarification during the quality assurance of the implementation phase. The information about the received certificate has already been updated on the GreenBookLive website.

“Best of all, the score of Zeniitti’s final certificate was higher than the score of the design phase certificate: 58.5%”, rejoices Janne Sihvonen, director of design at Lujatalo. “Of course, the biggest thanks for this goes to the construction consultant, Premico, and the BREEAM consultant, Sweco. In addition, special thanks goes to the entire construction site”, Sihvonen continues.
