The Construction Quality RALA Association in Finland promotes the quality, sustainability, and collaboration in Finnish construction. The RALA Association’s assessment board has once again awarded Premico Construction Management with renewed RALA Quality and Environmental certificates.
- The RALA Quality certificate verifies that Premico’s quality management system meets the requirements defined in the RALA certification procedure based on an audit. The latest assessment was conducted on October 5, 2023, and the certificate is valid until December 31, 2024.
- The RALA Environmental certificate confirms that Premico’s environmental management system complies with the requirements defined in the RALA certification procedure based on an audit. The latest assessment was conducted on October 5, 2023, and the certificate is valid until December 31, 2024.
Premico’s construction management processes are guided by its own quality system, which undergoes internal audits before external assessments. The results obtained, including any identified faults, are shared with RALA’s external auditor. RALA’s expert reviews the quality system in advance and evaluates Premico’s practices on-site through practical examples. As a result, they provide feedback on their observations, immediate corrective actions needed, and suggestions for improvements.
According to Markku Kainulainen, the Business Director of Construction Management, the audit processes went exceptionally well this year. He stated, “It’s certainly pleasing when the auditor mentions that Rampe is one of the best systems they’ve seen. Our processes were already good to begin with, but through the audit, they have become even better and truly effective. And our customers undoubtedly benefit from this.”
Premico was first awarded the RALA Environmental certificate in 2020 and the RALA Quality certificate in 2015. The validity of these certificates requires the company to continuously improve its methods and enhance its operations based on monitoring and feedback.
